1. Who you are agreeing with
These terms are the agreement between you and Figplanner, the operator of this service. Figplanner is operated by fseudo labs, a business registered in Malaysia. Write to hello@figplanner.com about anything in this document.
2. What the service is
Figplanner is a weekly planner. It shows one person the whole of their own week, and it helps them decide when their own work happens. There are no teams, no shared plans, and no way to give work to somebody else.
3. Your account
You need an account to use the planner. An account can have two doors: a password, and the Google account you sign in with. Keep both safe, and tell Figplanner at hello@figplanner.com if you think somebody else has either. An account is for one person.
You must be at least 16 years old to have an account.
You can delete your account at any time, from the settings screen. Deleting the account deletes the tasks in it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not try to break the service, to overload it, or to reach data that is not yours. Do not use the service to store unlawful content. Figplanner can close an account that does one of these things.
5. Your content and ours
What you write stays yours. The titles, descriptions, colours and checklists of your tasks, and the times you place them at, belong to you. Figplanner claims no ownership of them, stores them so it can show them back to you, and does nothing else with them.
A calendar you connect is different. What Figplanner holds from it is a copy, kept so the planner can show your week around it. The events themselves stay in the calendar they came from, Figplanner never writes to that calendar, and removing an event here changes nothing there. The privacy policy says what is copied and how to end it.
The planner itself is not yours. The software, the name, the lockup and the design stay with the business that operates the service. You may use the service. You may not copy it, sell access to it, or take it apart to build another one.
6. The Basic plan and the Pro plan
The Basic plan is the planner as you find it today. A Pro plan adds to it.
It is not on sale yet, and nothing in the application can charge you until it is.
7. Billing
When Pro goes on sale, Paddle takes the payment. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record, which makes Paddle the seller of record for every transaction. Paddle's own buyer terms govern the purchase, together with this document.
8. Refunds
When Pro goes on sale, you can ask for a refund within 30 days of the date of purchase. The refund policy states how to ask and what happens next.
9. Cancellation
When Pro goes on sale, you can cancel a paid plan at any time. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. The plan does not renew after that.
10. Availability and warranties
The service is provided as is. Figplanner does not guarantee that it is available without interruption. Maintenance, a defect, or a failure at a supplier can each stop the service for a time.
So far as the law allows, no warranty is given beyond what this document says. Figplanner does not promise that the service is free of defects, that it fits a purpose you have in mind, or that it will never lose data. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
None of this takes away a right the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
11. Limitation of liability
So far as the law allows, liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. On the Basic plan that amount is zero.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms can change. A material change is announced by email, to the address on your account. The date at the top of this page says when the document last changed.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia hear any dispute about them.
14. The rest of the agreement
If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still stand. The part that fails is treated as removed, and nothing else changes with it.
Figplanner can transfer this agreement to somebody who takes over the business, and will tell you at the address on your account before that happens. You cannot transfer it to somebody else.
These terms, the refund policy and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and Figplanner about the service.
